I always want to work in a commercial bank or a related field for my career and think it would be a good idea to get some experience when I was in college. I have given in writing resumes in full all the banks that were in my town. I have not heard from them for a few weeks, but I got a call from Lloyds TBS asks me for an interview. The next day I was interviewed they said I got the job. I think I think I screamed a bit which probably wasn't the best idea.
Tips: Just write out your CV in full, like an essay, and if you do get an interview, make yourself seem enthusiastic and optimistic.
How I did it: It was the beginning of my summer where I got a part time job at the mandarins (still my current job), so yeah the pay was great making my 8.50 per hour, and the hours back then were awesome, but now crap so I m happy that I have a job I make loads of friends there, and have some really happy customers.
Tips: never take the job if you do not like it, and look into it before you do.
